flea Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Right just got the car back from the garage getting bits n bobs (non engine related) sorted and its MOT sorted out but coming home the check engine light came on and i parked up left went to use it yesterday fine no probs no check light or anything. then this morning went to go to work and it comes on again! so im a bit confused Rang the garage and he has said to check the ipe from the Maf to turbo and clean out the maf. So has anyone had this problem before? its a MY95 WRX btw! cheers Fly.

It does appear that they have disturbed a sensor of some kind. It's difficult to say what to check without knowing the fault tho. Craig.

flea Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 hello there mate, this will be very helpfull to you!http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co.uk/Sco...Diag%20Page.htm done that got a 11 - crankshaft position sensor 22 - knock sensor 31 - trottle position sensor 42 - idle switch 45 - pressure sensor/pressure exchange solonoid valve so in other words im screwed! ne ideas were i could pick up said parts and maybe were they are located? cheers Fly.
flea Posted August 25, 2008 Author Posted August 25, 2008 WELL!...... decided i couldnt have all those faults so decided that id reset the ecu and take her a run and its came back all clear!!!!! could this have been the previous engines faults before it was replaced?
