Was wondering how many people have had to go down the recon engine route and thier experiences with them.

My engine goosed and need to have it back up and running for mcrae gathering.

Cheers mate, just ordered the engine so it should arrive tomorrow. if all goes to plan should be back up and running in plenty of time. (Famous last words eh!)

Im in rosyth bud. Took the car to a garage i know quite well and was told he wouldnt rebuild the engine as it was too damanged. Dont know if he was just saying this as i dont really know enough.

In process of taking the engine out just now. Got some mechanically mined mates doing it.

Got a six months guarantee with the one i bought.
