matthew_buckland Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 A bit of history to these stickers, we were approached by southwestscoobies a while back to make these stickers for them, then surrey approached us and asked for same, then Granby saw one and wanted one, we make these stickers to order and ask for a minimum donation of £5 for the pair, the full £5 has gone to the McRae charity as we cover all cost ourselves, they have been quite a hit with the other car clubs, but they have never been promoted by us. If anyone is interested then please let me know what colours you would like and i'll see what i can do. Thanks Sue

"Andy's list of things to do for the Gathering No. 31297 - Publicly thank Sue for fundraising efforts." I have thanked her by email, but should - on behalf of the Gathering organisers - Grant, Imy and myself, do it publicly. Her email was a very unexpected surprise and a very welcome addition to our fundraising efforts. It enters totally into the spirit of the event - doing what we do for the charities with no personal reward other than the satisfaction in knowing you've helped. This will get a mention on the Gathering site, of course, but it looks like fundraising is still going on so I won't publicise it yet - firstly to stop Sue getting swamped with orders from across the Globe (which WILL happen!) and secondly till we know the final sum raised. Once more - our sincere thanks for going above and beyond the call of duty to support this event - and thanks to all who have purchased too.

Yes I would concur with Andy and add that both Sue and Matt deserve a BIG round of applause for the GREAT job that they are both doing. WELL DONE
