Red stuff are crap for Impreza's, in fact the person i got my disc's from said he wouldn't even fit them to his wheel barrow

I would never use EBC products, the standard OE pads are better!

Ive gone for gold Brembo's as I got them for a snip

Rears are a bit tricky as I need a Brembo fitting kit with special brackets and shoes so the handbrake still works.

If you can afford to put on Performance Friction disc's and pad's they make a awesome setup

How did the k-sport brakes perform today Dean

I can give them the thumbs-up, they were excellent, however the same can't be said for my driving, or my gearbox. I started braking later and later and hit nearly 150MPH (230 KPH) down Hangar Straight, and had several sideways moments whilst hard on the brakes before Abbey (must remember to complete my braking before turning in).

At the end of the morning session, the gearstick seemed to lose contact with the gearbox, and all I had was one gear (4th or 5th) so that was the end of that.

Must however say that up to that point I had the biggest smile on my face ever. The car was absolutely stonking it around the track.

Should add my thanks to Darin at MLR for putting on a well organised and professionally run trackday, didn't see anyone representing The SIDC.

Great to hear the brakes worked brilliantly but a shame to hear about the car, that be another call to deano then and once you get all these little niggles out of the way you should have a permanent smile on your face

Not sure if it's something Deano will want to do, gearbox might have to come out.

Once it's sorted I think I'll sell it.
