Payed a visit to TDI today to say hello prior to our dyno day on the 12th July. Spoke to Shaun and he requires the gear ratio's of the cars attending this event when we arrive to save time and possibly do a few more cars. Please P.M. with these details as soon as :icon_salut:

what do you mean ??we didnt have to do any of this last time

Thats because they have to look through a big THICK book which takes time. So if we do it we might be able to do a couple more cars = more money for G.O.S.H

Didn't do any of this last time, they just hooked it upto the dyno and away they went, i roughly worked out the bhp & torque from what they gave us

What ratios do they need 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th or the final drive ratios

Thank you - does this mean I can put the gearbox back now ;)

The only part of a gearbox that you know Barry, is that thing called a gearstick, (the bit you change gear with) :D

Give us a clue . . . . is the gearbox part of that chunk of metal under that flap that lifts up at the front of the car? Despite our age gap, looks like I'm with Twenty on this one ;)

Ian, Brian lost me way back at the beginning with the words gear ratios. . . . . now we're on to n/s, i/c, flange :D;)

Despite this, I'll have a look and see if I can see any numbers - probably end up popping over to you at the weekend
