Hi there.

Adam and I are both college students, doing a Btec in motorsports engineering. Part of our course is to do a project. We have currently bought a 1997 2.0l 4WD Subaru Impreza, the estate version. The body work is in mint condition, but the engine is gone. we reckon the bottom end has gone.

Now for this project we were thinking of transforming this subaru into perhaps a track day car...

We also had in mind to replace this engine with the 2.0L turbo version.

This is our plan. Do you think it is possible to achieve within a year, considering we only have 3 hrs per week in the workshop...

We would like to strip it, probably upgrade the brakes and suspension.

How much money are we looking at?
