Renewed my tracker annual subscription today and was asked if the unit had ever been serviced? Nope, not in the three years that I've had the car any way. They said they'd run a 24hr test for me, just to make sure its going lol, but mentioned that the unit should in any case be serviced at least every 5 years as thats about the shelf life of the battery element. Didn't realise this, so have booked them to service the unit for me and replace the battery. Better safe than sorry I suppose, after all, pointless paying for the stuff if it doesn't work.
