Guest Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 As u may or may not know i recently purchased RB5 322. When buying i did notice the cambelt was due at 87500 or 8 years whichever comes first. The car is 9 years old and has 87400 on the clock now so it time to change the cambelt. I knocked the guy down £500 because it was due when purchasing aswell. A mate who is doing the cambelt says he can get a full kit belts tensioners pulleys etc from BINGBRO??? Do i use these or should i go to Subaru direct for piece of mind?? Also going to be changing the diff and gear box oil what type do people use reccomend?? Also is it worth changing my panel filter for an STI one or should i just fit a standard one? Anything else that needs done in the service other than belts pulleys tensioners and gearbox and diff oil and air filter?

Guest Posted June 24, 2008 Posted June 24, 2008 I got my tensioner and pulleys from camskill, perfect and cheaper than subaru.Johnny was looking at their website yesterday. Can somebody give me a list of all the parts needed as thety seem to have replacement bearings etc on their site which makes it all rather confusing. Also what diff and gearbox oil do people use? And where will i get an STI air filter to replace my standard one?
