j3rk Posted June 20, 2008 Author Posted June 20, 2008 Replaces the need for gauges all over the dash. It is a 93 wrx. ok well my gauges are ok lol. What i need is somone who can plug into the car and check to see if anything is wrong and then in turn be able to tune it if need be or let me know if something needs to be replaced. For cash of course lol. Somebody close would be helpful as im working silly hours throughout the day. Does deano do that kinda thing?

dazzlers82 Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 93 will be the plugs under the dash mate so can not be plugged in if you have no engine check light on then that normally means all ok although there could be stored faults still the best way is to disconnect the battery for an hour and it will erase them for you
j3rk Posted June 21, 2008 Author Posted June 21, 2008 Thanks for the advice guys. Just think something may be amiss that wont show up as an engine check light problem. Cant put my finger on it but it is like the car runs super quick somedays and a bit hesitant the next. I think maybe i have a problem along the lines of the throttle section as it has a slight cold start problem. Would really need somebody to drive it who is experienced with these cars to see for themselves if somethings not right.
dazzlers82 Posted June 21, 2008 Posted June 21, 2008 do you use the same fuel all the time an the same garage ?????
j3rk Posted June 22, 2008 Author Posted June 22, 2008 do you use the same fuel all the time an the same garage ????? Well i always use shell v power but could be any of the garages between maidstone and gravesend. Would that make a difference?
dazzlers82 Posted June 22, 2008 Posted June 22, 2008 Well i always use shell v power but could be any of the garages between maidstone and gravesend. Would that make a difference? bad fuel can cause problems of course have you changed the fuel filter or the fuel pump??????
j3rk Posted June 22, 2008 Author Posted June 22, 2008 (edited) bad fuel can cause problems of course have you changed the fuel filter or the fuel pump?????? Yeah about 6 months ago. Fuel pump and filter. I could try giving the fuel filter a bit of a clean? Might be my throttle cable because everytime i mess about with it from the engine side making sure its not loose etc it starts first time the following day and drives clean and sharp. Usually its a lumpy start from cold and sluggish. To be honest mate it could be anything and thats why it really needs somebody good with these to have a little butchers. Could be anything from the fuel system to a spark plug to a tiny voltage drop in the circuit somewhere lol. Edited June 22, 2008 by j3rk
