EN4ever Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 (edited) er sounding completely stupid here but my mechanical knowledge goes as far as polishing the bonnet or filling the water and i just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction as to fitting.i bought this induction kit off ebay and to be honest i really have no idea where all the bits go(no instructions)so if anyone would be able to give me some hints on what goes where that would be much apprieciated, cheers Edited June 5, 2008 by EN4ever
granby Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 Do you know what make of induction kit it is, if so you might be able to get the instructions off their website
EN4ever Posted June 5, 2008 Author Posted June 5, 2008 (edited) Do you know what make of induction kit it is, if so you might be able to get the instructions off their websiteno theres no markings on it i can see and ive googled loads even trying to find pic of how one looks fitted but not having much luck.ive emailed the seller to try and find out make.im pretty sure i can work out brackets and stuff, but would i be right in saying that the rubber sleeve fits over intake to engine(where the old box was/is)then the silver pipe, then the red air filter cone, then connect the breathers pipes? 20withascooby Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 what made u change to a cone not a panel filter
EN4ever Posted June 5, 2008 Author Posted June 5, 2008 what made u change to a cone not a panel filterdunno really,i read they sound better espicially for a sport and it goes a bit quicker.just went out for a spin and it certainly is louder and maybe ever so slightly faster...but the breather pipes a worry
