er sounding completely stupid here but my mechanical knowledge goes as far as polishing the bonnet or filling the water and i just wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction as to fitting.i bought this induction kit off ebay and to be honest i really have no idea where all the bits go(no instructions)so if anyone would be able to give me some hints on what goes where that would be much apprieciated, cheers

Do you know what make of induction kit it is, if so you might be able to get the instructions off their website
no theres no markings on it i can see and ive googled loads even trying to find pic of how one looks fitted but not having much luck.ive emailed the seller to try and find out make.

im pretty sure i can work out brackets and stuff, but would i be right in saying that the rubber sleeve fits over intake to engine(where the old box was/is)then the silver pipe, then the red air filter cone, then connect the breathers pipes?

what made u change to a cone not a panel filter
dunno really,i read they sound better espicially for a sport and it goes a bit quicker.just went out for a spin and it certainly is louder and maybe ever so slightly faster...but the breather pipes a worry

u didnt drive without the breather pipe on did u hope u have money for a rebuild ready
yes i did(couldnt help myself).put it all back to normal now and packed up kit to send back and get the right one.took car out again and it seems fine, surely the breather pipe cant be that important can it ;) Edited by EN4ever

was a joke think you can just leave it or block it off better to just uprate the panel filter
lol,u git! was concerned.even been out again since to check it sounds ok ;)

and i think youre right uprating the panel filter seems a much easier option.

yes hoping to be there sat, almost 100%
