Scooby Hoo? Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 Which bulb fitment did you get? The dual beam kit is over £100 The single kit £89 Hope this helps
baser999 Posted May 24, 2008 Posted May 24, 2008 (edited) Was going to say the same thing as Hugh. The classic bulb is a dual-filament (high/low beam) unlike all the later imprezas which have separate bulbs - no doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong. You need the H4 bulb. The Guru Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 Spot on Barry, an H4 dual filament is needed. Arron.
20withascooby Posted May 25, 2008 Author Posted May 25, 2008 got it of bob5 group buy on SNET was 115 pounds
baser999 Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 got it of bob5 group buy on SNET was 115 pounds But was it the H4 bulb kit that you bought? I had an H1 kit from someone on here but we then realised the H1/H4 bulb fitments weren't the same so had to order a bixenon upgrade kit (comprising wiring and bulb-holder) which enabled me to fit the correct H4 bulbs so I had xenon lighting on high and low beam. The newer cars have seperate bulbs for high/low beam so you could just fit xenon bulbs on low beam and leave the original bulbs for high beam although they'd look very yellow by comparison
granby Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 got it of bob5 group buy on SNET was 115 pounds Isn't BOB5 sorting this out with you on S/N
