On my00 classic we stuck the offside one on the inside of the wheel housing using some serious double sided tape. The nearside one we managed to slot down between the headlight and the battery but again used some tape

Mine are 6000k which I was told were probably the brightest that you could get that were still 'legal' - any brighter and they start to get very blue and potentially failable at your mot. However they made the sidelights very yellow by comparison so I stuck in a couple of neons so they all looked white - Deano swapped the neons over when he put the car through the mot as he felt they'd fail. Have still to swap over the foglight bulbs but since I very rarely use them I'll do them at a later date. Imho the Hids are certainly better than the standard headlights - I bought the dual filament bulbs for mine so I have the brighter light on low and main beam

4300k (which i have) are the brightest & whitest you can get at the moment, 8000k will definitely have a blue tint and i'd be careful as the police may stop you because of the tint

just got a email from bob5 the guy on scoobynet with his group buy saying he tried ringing me to make sure that i wanted the 8000k kit and wanted to discuss with me about the temp and the colour htat is emitted and that it results in far less light then the 6000 kit and that he wouldnt recommend it and that he has taken the liberty to change it to 6000k without speaking to me and that if i put them in and dont like them contact him and he will sought out getting the 8000k to me so im happy because i wanted to change anyway but thought it was to late
