MEANT DUMP Okay think it might be time to do my first very little mod. Would like to put a turbo dumb on (well ask Deano to do it) wanted to know what you thought would be the best one, don't want a really loud one, just really some thing I can hear with out p***ing people off up and down the street, also what sort of price range they are?? Any advice would help as I know nothing!!!!!! Thanks Edited April 16, 2008 by stardust274
gina_winder Posted April 16, 2008 Author Posted April 16, 2008 I really am getting old!!!! Also forgot to ask, does it affect the performance and reliability???
granby Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 I assume you mean dumpvalve, if so then just stick with the standard one, well thats what i would do
gina_winder Posted April 16, 2008 Author Posted April 16, 2008 I assume you mean dumpvalve, if so then just stick with the standard one, well thats what i would do But I want more noise!!!!!!!
granby Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 But I want more noise!!!!!!! OK then maybe go for a Forge one as they are good quality and not too loud
mikkers Posted April 16, 2008 Posted April 16, 2008 But I want more noise!!!!!!! Get a kazoo and lean out of the window. Range in price from about dodgy £30 ones on ebay that are best avoided to about £250 for a HKS SSQ. Do nowt performance wise, and your std one is recirculating, only VTA's (vent to atmosphere) make the noise.
