It's highly unlikely for all 4 coil packs to go at once, have you checked that the fuel pump is priming? (Sit in car with doors closed and turn key to on position w and you will hear it whirring) If not then try checking the earth cable that goes to it this is a common fault with imports it seems... (lift up rear seat and on driver side there is a connector block with the wires in it, it's the thick black one from what I can remember.....) mine was burnt out and had had the live reconnected but the earth had been left in it and had just carried on deteriorating leaving me stranded in Asda car park lol

Pele Posted March 25, 2008 Posted March 25, 2008 undo the front 2 bolts an remove seat mate then you can undo the 2 bolts for the back rest remove that an the boot floor an you will see the plates undo them check the wiring if its not whirring at all also check all fuses dont no which one it is but you have some down by drivers feet an also under bonnet If it's the earth which it could well be if there's no sound coming from the pump, then you will only have to take the bottom part of the seat off and reconnect the wires outside the connector that is already there - mine had got so hot at one point it looked like it had caught fire as the underneath of the seat was all melted!!!
