Thanx Dean for the service and taking the car for Mot etc and also for fitting the mudflaps - I agree , they do look the business. Must remember to swap the sidelight bulbs back over, as they look very yellow compared to the Hids - assume the mot man didn't like the neon ones. Also must get into the habit of going up kerbs carefully and not catch the mudflaps. Given that I'm going to need new discs and pads before long do you have any recommendations for a good upgrade without blowing the bank? ps will try and find space for the new sticker Dean

you are welcome barry, glad you liked your flaps , the side marker lights i thought i would be pushing my luck with the MOT tester, so they had to go back to standard im afraid. i will get you a price for upgraded Discs + pads and give you a call some time next week.

Got that ordered last night.. Cost me £1.38 + £4.99 for postage, not bad price at all. Need a fuel filter as mines the same age as the car

Thinking about ordering a FPR + Fuel pump soon too.

Deano, i tried tightening all the pipes like you recomended today, and found 1 jubilee clip is broken on the big main breather. The pipe is very tight though, and seems sealed.

Oh and the Pink looks awsome

I'll attempt to borrow a camera, soon as i get some spare time.

Oh one other thing.... Fuel consumption is about 25% better, i can't believe what kind of mpg i'm getting. But i can't hear my spool up noise anymore. Going to try the bung in the exhaust tonight to see if it's being drowned out. Performance is much better though on a day when the engine is not holding off, it just pulls like a train right from 1500rpm (+ boost pressure at 1500-2000, as to 3500-4000 before).

ok you need to try and get another hose clip. it still my be drawing in air past the hose, glad you like the STI PINK stickers. dunks is right we need pics!!!!
