294mm Solid Rear Discs

Getting some work done at Hypertech and Duncan discovered I have 294mm solid rear disc on the Type R. He has only come across one other Impreza that had these a couple of years ago.

Just wondered if this was an upgrade option that Subaru Japan did? (Should say the car is a 555 V3 STI Type R)

Only place to source these in the UK is Roger Clark Motorsport RRP £125 each , but Duncan is sorting a good deal for me.

Should be all done and bedded in for Saturday.
