Ecu Re-set

does an ecu on a bugeye re-set the same as the classic, just by disconnecting the the bat because mine has the engine light on. i no what the fault is which i will fix 2morrow. i think the ecu is running in safe mode because the car is really slow

depending on the fault it will yes..

the worst faults need the ecu reset via laptop / select monitor

its miss firing on one cylinder which is why i think the check engine light is on. the past owner had it pluged in and it did come up with a miss fire, but they didnt think it was and didnt do anything. after driving it home it started miss firing and run lumpy.

duno what to. i dont think the car is miss firing now but it is running a bit lumpy engine light still stays on after i tried re-setting the ecu. and the car is no where near as quick as my 2000 turbo

i wudda asked the guy to get it fixed b4 i bought it but thats my opinion.erm could ask jolly green to plug it in duno if he does diagnostics or deano666.kai performance myt do u need to get it plugged in and find out why it staying on

lumpy could be a maf but duno wat they are like on a bugeye no they go alot on classics

i did take the maf sensor off to see if it needed cleaning hopefully i might be going to kai this week to get the classic fixed so i think i will ask them.
