G.Mac Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 (edited) Well today was the dreaded day of de-tunement as I was getting mapped back onto plain V-Power rather than the Scotimax mix I have been using for over a year now. The results were supprising to say the least as in Andy's estimations the car is pushing 360bhp and 350 lbs-ft of torque still with the VF35 running the V-Power so thats only a 10bhp and 15lbs-ft of torque loss. I am still getting 1 bar of boost at 2600rpm and full boost at 2800 rpm (in 6th gear) but the car does not feel just as sharp as it did before Still for sale (for the time being) Graeme Edited March 5, 2008 by G.Mac
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 That blows Graeme..................needs must though and STILL sweet figures
RS Grant Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Thats still good figures for the minimal mods you've got.. but understand its gonna be a wee bit tough to take even a slight drop in power/torque. Cheers, Grant
G.Mac Posted March 5, 2008 Author Posted March 5, 2008 tell me about it, im sitting here twitching saying "I need more power!!"
RS Grant Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 ....thats not so good, maybe just slip a cheeky 20g on there with some supporting mods. The potential buyers will love it, trust me. Cheers, Grant
G.Mac Posted March 5, 2008 Author Posted March 5, 2008 If I were to mod it more it would be MD321T, Fuel pressure reg, Simtec ecu for duel fuel maps , AP brakes, whiteline ARB's....the list goes on......
