If you want it sounding like your UK TURBO, then have the same setup on the sti. "fully decatted"

Or keep the original downpipe and have a centre decat with a free"er" flowing backbox. suttle burble

youtube.com search "impreza exhaust" and pick a flavour

yes mate it was the one at calders. drove it from cold and it was miss firing girl said it has still to be put into workshop for service etc and that they would rectify the problem before it was sold, maybe plugs or something but wasnt right but is a nice car really clean bit pricey though.

Calders! Might want to have a look elsewhere first m8.

Had dealings with them in the past, but don't think I'd buy anything from them.

I'm sure if you do a wee search on here you'll find plenty of comments from others as well.

There is a guy on here that imports these cars and I havent heard a bad thing said about him yet.. think his username is Chapman81 or something along those lines, might be worth a wee PM to him to see what he can get hold of for you. Actually, probably best to see if I've got that username right before trying to PM, I'm sure someone will be along shortly that knows what the correct username is. ;)

Cheers,

Grant

i would say make sure you get good warranty if buying from calders, never heard of anyone buying a good car from there tbh, althou i always have a nosey at the website and they do have some nice looking cars

good luck with it thou, and you never know it might be a great car

if possible maybe take it to a specialist before you buy it, if they have nothing to hide then they shouldnt have a problem with you doing that

Bought my V3 STI 555 V/LTD from Calders and have no complaints, service was excellent, made sure the car was right before they let me have it, replaced the clutch (which was slipping so slightly that was only noticed by them when they road tested it after servicing it.), front bumper was damaged at the docks so they replaced it and painted. Undersealed it too.

Found Dee to be really helpfull and have no complaints.

Just took delivery of my Version 3 STI Type R, used SC Imports (Chapman81) and have no complaints. Good thing was any car I was interested in at auction was checked before before any decision to bid was made. Eventually sourced a dealer car so still Jap MOT'd clean example with a few sensible mods.
