Anyone Used A Dashboard Repair Kit?

Hi All,

I recently bought a 1994 WRX STI and love it, it's my first Subaru and was well worth the wait!

Anyway, I had to pick up a large CRT television, and it would only fit in the front seat.

I though we'd been careful putting it in, but I went and marked the dashboard, I'm gutted

Basically there's a scratch and a small section that's all smooth.

I was wondering if someone has used a dashboard repair kit?

There's one online at Halfords for about 20 pounds.

a - Does it work?

b - Does the paint match with the black-ish dash that I have

Alternatively, has anyone had their dashboard repaired? Was it a good job, who did it, and what did it cost.

Hi Ally,

I had my bumper sprayed about 3-4 years back on my first FTO and the company were specialists at this sort of repair you are asking about - The company are called Dr Vinyl - the one I know is in Edinburgh (Leith) and the owner is called George. Not sure where in Scotland you are tho! Tell him Paul with the Black and White FTO gave you details
