granby Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Don't they have to warn you of speed bumps, might be a idea to check the road out to see if there are any signs, if not then get a picture of the unmarked speed bump and possibly put in a claim to the council
luke_clifton Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 Sorry to hear about that mate, I know the feeling though, never had problems with speed bumps but had a unfortunate meeting with a high kirb a few months ago. Put several huge cracks in my Jun front splitter. The sound alone is enough to wanna throw up.

What road was it on? I caught a pot hole in my old car and bent the alloy took a photo of the hole and damage to the car and got all repairs paid for. Plus if you can find out the height of the speed bump i belive there is a max height. If you lay a bit of wood on top of the hump and the gap between the bottom of the wood to the road will give you the height. As Gramby says give it a go you have nothing to lose.
