Need Help Changing Spark Plugs On My 00 Classic Turbo (stenhousemuir,larbert Area.)

just an appeal for anyone who can lend me a hand changing the spark plugs on my 00 classic turbo.had a go trying myself but seems too hard,i live in stenhousemuir antonshill area,any help would be greatly appreciated not in a hurry so any date can suit me for anyone.ill leave my mob number not on pc much,07842494682.

The easiest way to do it is remove the airbox completely from the driver's side and then remove the water bottle from the other side that will give you access in to remove the plug's and it should only take you an hour.

Stevies right mate...I did mine a few weeks back and although everyone took the P**** out of me I was well chuffed that I did it myself...did take longer than an hour mind you....but I have to say most of my time was spent trying to remove the rubber insert on the spark plug socket so I could get the HT lead back on........but all in all a job I would tackle again no problem....if your still stuck and looking for novice help....you can use me as a last resort....

make sure the engine isnt to hot, burny burny i run it for 2-3 mins to ease the plug threads then put a little copperslip on the threars to lube them m8 have fun geo

thanks for the help and the offers,managed to do it yesterday no problem took a bit off time but was worth it car runs alot better now,thanks again.

Yes running fine the now,i read your thread on the MAF it must have just been a bit of dampness that was the problem then?

Either dampness dirt or the fact the airfilter obviously hadn't been changed at the last service

Glad it's running fine again,have you got the centre section de-cat pipe yet?

Not yet mate, i've decided to leave as is till the summer by which time i'll have saved enough to get the rest of the H&S system to match my back box, an one or two other goodies before i take a wee trip to port seaton. :thumbup:
