Induction Kits

hi all i bought my 96 wrx import a month ago it came fittrd with hks air induction kit people i have talked to say its not good to fit these to the car (can cause maf problems)the kit seems to have beem installed professionally and the car runs great i can get around 200 miles for a half tank can anyone give me advice thanks

am sure if your cars getting good miles + no engine checks or mega backfiring etc its all good in the hood

or double check and pay andy.F to map it

Ive got a classic, and this kit is apparently for the 2002 and up to 2007

Think I would get away with fitting it on mine? 1998 v5-6

Its the maf sensor part im worried about, have the newer imprezas got a new version ?

it will be maped later if it fits

The issue would be the maf holder as i think they are diffrent from newage to classic

Won't fit due to MAF installation being sifferent in soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many ways between your V5/6 one and the bugeye one.
