Speedy Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 I know already posted this but cant find it here now. Need to find a WRC kit for a hawk eye found one from China but not sure if its gonna turn out to be a cut and patch job. Was looking for a UK based kit seller although would prefer Scotland for the traveling point of view. Help
ANDYJDMSTI Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Most of the stuff from China and Japan are stick on items with respect to the rear doors and quarters. You will be pushed to find anywhere in the UK doing proper kit for your car.
john mac Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 This is two companys that do wide body kits for new age scoobs, although not sure if they do anything as new as a Hawkeye.HT do a lot of there own stuff so maybe could help. http://www.a-b-w.co.uk/abwkits.html http://www.htautos.co.uk/ Like said by Andy most of these kits will be bolt on front wings and bond on side panels where the arches will have to be cut away a bit. So you are talking some serious body work . Prodrive would sell you some real deal, nice carbon fibre panels ,(if you want to re mortgage your house)

ANDYJDMSTI Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) so where did you get yours Andy From a friend who sweated blood from his eyeballs to get the stuff that was harder to find than hens teeth!! Front wings are direct replacements on most kits, it is when you come to the rear doors and quarters that you start to have hassles, if you get the proper quarters and real doors then there is alot of cutting a fabrication to be done on the rear arch and quarter. If it is stick and bond then it is not too hard...........but you will always know it is just stuck on!!! If it is the L'aunsport kit from Japan then i would not bother, i saw their car up close when i was there last month and it was not the best quality. Edited November 30, 2007 by ANDYJDMSTI

Go see the bank manager, sell your house, live in a tent, pimp out the missus then re-enact the Brinks Mat robbery for real!! Anyway Prodrive will not sell parts unless you have a WRC motor and can give them the chassis number. Why don't you save all the hassles........sell yours and buy mine!! iain01 Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 A wee thread from ayrshire scoobies adding a 22b kit, alot of work involved, but interesting. http://ayrshirescoobies.myfastforum.org/th..._about2506.html
