Are the rear disc pads easy to change on a new age seeing as there is a cable to the caliper. Is there a caliper release tool needed??? my reson for asking is i have just relined the brakes on my van but i needed a special release tool to squeeze and rotate the pistons.

Thanks :)B)

Yeah What you do is Get a bucket then a sponge with perhaps a bit of water and washing up liquid

then you WASH the wheel ( I know it sounds hard but you will get used to it ) Then you will be able to see what your doing !! :DB)

Hi mate if you look at your caliper there is 2 pins that hold the pads in on these pins are 2 R pins if you remove them you can then remove the main pins once you have done this remove the steel plate and then your pads should just lift out if there sticky its just a case of work at them with pliers till they come out the top. As for your Calipers there is 2 bolts on the back of the hub remove them and the caliper will lift off .

Give Yogi a break....he asks what is surely a sensible question and everyone takes the peeeeee. Oh, by the way, I haven't got a clue about changing the pads, sorry B)
