Bad Batch Of Fuel

Not sure if many of you use a certain supermarket that sells 99ron (Maidstone area), but i filled up on friday and the car felt like is was missing a bit of power, difficult to explain just felt like it was holding back....Anyhoo filled up with V-power tonight and hey presto back to normal

I know sometimes the retailer can have condensation in the fuel tanks but i would of thought said store has a pretty good turnover, especially with the fuel vouchers at the mo (the main reason i filled up there)

Anyone else experienced the same

I haven't named the store as i know some forums don't like that due to potential libel issues

Can't say i've noticed any difference using Tesco's 99 ron , could be just a bad batch as i know Optimax used to go off after a while and i few people had problems with it but haven't heard it happening with Tesco's stuff

Is your's a classic? Coz mine is and it does'nt like anything other then v-power.If i've used tesco's 99 it does'nt run as well!!!

wat tescos was it i use the one at grove green and larkfield and mines fyn

Mines a newage STI with PPP

Oh and its Lunsford park i think thats the same as Larkfield

yea is same one mines been ok filled up there today dun nuthing but pop and bang on way home
