karps Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 What a great time i had in Las Vegas, it was the end of SEMA week there (the biggest car show in the USA) and although i didnt go to it, the local subaru club had loads of meets arranged. The guys from www.flat4lv.com treated me like a VIP and gave me a fantastic welcome. I met Mr. Daijiro Inada the founder of D1 Grand Prix, Tokyo Auto Salon, and Option magazine, as well as glenn cohen from prosport gauges, dan Hurwitz from mach v motorsports and a host of others. I even won some prizes in the raffle. an ecutek easy ecu from dynocomp.com, my choice off the k+n website, a front lip spoiler which i gave back cos it wouldnt fit in my suitcase lol, 3 wrc dvd's, prodrive t shirt+hat and a load of other wee goodies. It really was the holiday of a lifetime. Heres just a few pics i took and there are loads more in this link http://www.flat4invasion.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=1134

4Hero Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 looks like you had a ball mate, lucky man! looking at this: That would work out at just under £14,596.96 GBP for a brand new WRX, god, are we ripped off or what
eurosti Posted November 17, 2007 Posted November 17, 2007 (edited) Yes you are mate, ripped off that is i can get a brand new hawkeye sti for 19k, that just proves what the vat man takes! My mate just got a 57plate wrx with ppp for less than 16k! We/you pay far to much as we know it but the Germans are now paying 19% equivalent VAT! SHOCKING! Looks like it was a good time, noticed the Cobb graphic on the first pic they bang out some serious Scoob lumps! Edited November 17, 2007 by eurosti
