silverscooby Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Got a 1994 wrx import with 17" alloys, handles well but seems to rub now and then it you corner hard, Any good if i take the spacers out the back wheels? (think they're 10mm thick?) cheers
Baz69birds Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 (edited) i had the Same problem on mine, when it was wieghted down, there is a RUBBER beading that goes around the inner wheel arch. i took mine off... Doesnt rub any more, Some people then get the arches rolled, i havent & (touch wood) Had no problems yet. edit = to many spelling mistakes Edited November 1, 2007 by baz69birds

daniel Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Mine rubbed when i changed my wheels so i changed my tyres to 205 40 17 and it sorted the problem out
matthew_buckland Posted November 2, 2007 Posted November 2, 2007 Common Classic problem we also went down to 215 40 17s, and removed the spacers, it did stop them rubbing but had to put spacers back on when upgraded the brakes.
