enCrypt Posted October 26, 2007 Posted October 26, 2007 Ok showing just how useless I am with the car, my drivers side rear indicator bulb has gone. How the hell do I get into it??!! It looks like its from the boot, but I cant figure out how to get the carpetty / cardboardy bit off without breaking it! Can anyone help please?
enCrypt Posted October 27, 2007 Author Posted October 27, 2007 Ok Ive got into it without breaking anything! But now I can get the bulb out of the holder... Will it be a bayonet fitting?
madmanx Posted October 27, 2007 Posted October 27, 2007 Should be, try pushing in the bulb, if it dont move spray it with some wd40 or the likes.
enCrypt Posted October 28, 2007 Author Posted October 28, 2007 Thanks Mad Manx, I got it sorted after much cursing etc... it turns out someone had forced in the wrong type of bayonet bulb the last time. Good old WD got it out though... Got a new (correct fitting) one from DMS and it flew in!
madmanx Posted October 28, 2007 Posted October 28, 2007 Sorted!! So if I need my back bulbs replacing, your the man. You had me thinking there the other night, And I couldn't even go out and have a look at mine, As its sitting round at Dave's No probs.
