leebo77 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Mrs Lee parked the car today at her sisters place in Hartley while they went out in her sisters car. Some theiving scumbags put the back door through while they were out and went straight for the drawers in the house. Fortunately a neighbour heard the house alarm going off and chased them away. As it was only drawers that were disturbed and not tele and video (etc), I can only assume that they were after the keys for the RB. Be vigilant folks. These people do not deserve the right to life.
matthew_buckland Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Bl**dy hell Lee, I'm really sorry to hear that, Thank god for alarms, Words cannot express what we all feel for these deviants. At least they got away empty handed, Hope Mrs Lee and sister are ok and not too shaken.
leebo77 Posted October 15, 2007 Author Posted October 15, 2007 Cheers Scuzz. They're now trying to explain it all to my little niece... ...not nice at all. This all happened as bold as brass in the middle of the day today as well. These ******* have so much front.
matthew_buckland Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Thought Hartley was meant to be one of the better areas. Hope ur niece will be ok, when the little ####es tried to get into ROAR's a while back my little niece was scared ####less for days. They just dont care about the affect it has on the owners.

baser999 Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Thought Hartley was meant to be one of the better areas..... No disrespect to Hartley but is there anywhere these days that you can really call safe? Recently got back from holiday in Iceland and that's a place that really sets an example to the rest of the world - no litter on the streets, no asbos walking the streets at night, no car rage........apparantly they had a murder there in July - first one for two years!!!! I'd give serious thought to moving there
Baz69birds Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Had my car broken into the other weekend, But they didnt get away with the car thanks to STOP LOCK & amitures. Sorry to hear about this, Looks like you get some iron Bars on the windows. etc....
Scooby Hoo? Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 Just read this Lee. Thanks for the info will keep the gates locked all the time now. It's a same that the people who carry out this sort of thing have no understanding of the consquences there actions have on the victims. I hope that your sister in law and her family will be able to move on very soon, from this unfortunate incident

matthew_buckland Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 (edited) Hows your sister-in-law and family doing, have the police been out yet? Edited October 15, 2007 by Scuzz
matthew_buckland Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I'd give serious thought to moving there Bit to chilly for my liking.

mean greenie Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 sorry to hear that mate, you can't seem to leave a nice car anywhere these days. we had a maintenance mini bus stolen from my works last week (dartford tunnel), the following day the cheeky tw**s tried to use the dart tag from the mini bus to get through. bold as brass!!
leebo77 Posted October 16, 2007 Author Posted October 16, 2007 Hows your sister-in-law and family doing, have the police been out yet? Thanks for asking, not sure how well my niece slept last night but we spoke to them late in the evening and the police had been and requested forensics to come too. Once they had left, the door had to be sorted out - thats the other part to it, the hassle that it has caused. Police didn't seem all that interested in the car being on the drive and didn't seem to outwardly link the crime and the car. Perhaps there's been a spate in the area with other intentions in mind. ???
leebo77 Posted October 16, 2007 Author Posted October 16, 2007 Forensics were there last night. Seems that in the short time that these scrotes were in the house they had been through the drawers in the kitchen and the drawers in the living room. In their words - they knew what they were looking for. ******* *****

woody-cdas Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Lee, Sorry to hear about this m8. Police never seemed interested - even tho it's obvious there were after the car otherwise they wouldn't have riffled through the drawers. Hope all the family are ok and that the scumbags get what they deserve.
