Cool How did you manage to connect the 3" centre to the std 2.5" downpipe? Is the Milltek a 3" system that drops to a 2.5" at the downpipe join or have you got some kind of convertor to go in between? Been planning much the same kind of mods to yourself I think

So you have no problems with exhaust gas losses at all with it and it's a direct fit <looks out credit card> What have you done... Was under the impression I was gonna be stuffed until I'd saved enough to do the full sports cat dp and decat system along with an AndyF remap as well. If it can be done in stages like this then so much the better (didn't want to go down the 2.5" route as I'm sure I'll want more and more power as I go so might as well do it "properly" first time round ) The burble was the one thing I was missing on the new motor... the old 94 wagon had a full decat system and was loud as fook, this one is too far the other way and is almost silent (well seems it anyway). Cheers, Iain.
iain01 Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Is the Milltek centre section resonated or do they supply resonated and de-resonated?
craig_harey Posted October 6, 2007 Author Posted October 6, 2007 because where the center joins the stock downpipe it has a coller that fits into the 3" miltek and no gasket was needed and no leaks my downpipe gets fitted next sat along with my wallbro 255 ltr pump and pannel filter then mapped on 3rd of nov
craig_harey Posted October 6, 2007 Author Posted October 6, 2007 Is the Milltek centre section resonated or do they supply resonated and de-resonated? iain it has a small resonater in it was told thats the way they come .
