Double Zero Posted November 20, 2007 Posted November 20, 2007 ^ actually, I might start doing that when no one waves to me Stevie
RS Grant Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Yea, I'll wave if I see them in time... however I find that a lot of classics arent owned by enthusiasts any longer and the "what the f@ck you doing" look gets given in response to my wave. But, the newage drivers are just as bad, an awful lot of them arent enthusiasts either.. so tend to get a confused look if you wave at them!! So now classics/blobeyes & hawkeyes arent responding, I'm gonna target the Bugeyes cause more of them are owned by enthusiasts, what with their 'challenging looks'.... lol, just kidding!! Cheers, Grant

craig79 Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 Must admit to getting a few waves but there is always that one time when you've got the missus in the car and you wave only to be greeted with a BLANKED response ha ha. She always just turns and says "bet you feel a right t**t now eh !! " Craig.
4Hero Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 we could maybe change to the middle finger, that would attract their attention
micra_wrc Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 My Bugeye and i alway's give a nod or a wave Stevie yup I can vouch for that took me about 20 miles after we waved that time outside Callendar for me to realise who it was
StrikE Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 I always wave & do find the newer the car the less chance of a wave, maybe they dont like waving to someone in a classic [cant afford a new un]..... not. Or they dont know what the Scooby image is all aboot <-<< 4hero would love to hear you explaing that one to your insurance company when your butt goes through the windie lol

l2 nrm Posted November 21, 2007 Posted November 21, 2007 wave flash toot indicate and stop to allow them out of junctions etc lol how sad am i ha ha
jas41 Posted November 22, 2007 Posted November 22, 2007 I try to always wave or nod whether its an classic or a newage! Found the classics don't wave back as much as the bug eyes who so far have always waved back. Newages and Hawkeyes usually give blank looks. Have been on a garage forecourt and been blanked by an SIDC badged car who had just filled up. Have to confess to missing a few though as by the time I had spotted the wave from the Scooby going the other way, they are already past.
hosstheboss Posted November 23, 2007 Posted November 23, 2007 sorry i've taken so long to get back to you!
