marky9074 Posted September 18, 2007 Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) Hi guys, I have a restrictor in my filler from the SVA testing...... It is really annoying as there is already one in there from Subaru, so I have a restrictor in a restrictor...... Both the SVA centre and the dealer are over the other side of the country, and I really want to avoid trekking there if I can. Now, all it is, is three grub screws.....BUT, you cannot get an allen key in there (and give enough purchase) to get one of them to give. Anyone got any ideas or can recommend someone locally to help? Cheers, Mark Edited September 18, 2007 by marky9074
marky9074 Posted September 18, 2007 Author Posted September 18, 2007 I forgot to say that a lot of people have looked at this as a ten minute job, but as of yet they have all come out scratching their heads...

They are allen not torx (your looking at the wrong screws....you cannot see them in the photo..) You cannot get a rachet and extension in either, it is just too small. Someone else did say that it might just be possible to get in there with a snap on though..... Edited September 18, 2007 by marky9074

marky9074 Posted September 18, 2007 Author Posted September 18, 2007 Just updated the photo.... Its not as easy as it looks.....I have a garage full of tools, and I have plenty of allen keys that fit the grub screws, but there is so much flex in the key that I am frightened I am gonna snap it. Like I said earlier, a lot of people have looked at this, thinking it is a five minute job, but a year later I still havent got the damn thing out
