Well i told dunks i'd post up how i got on so, after our rolling road day last november i was told my ecu was spiking when hitting 5000 rpm. so i finally got it looked at yesterday, it wasn't a good start firstly we found the air filter hadn't been fitted correctly, they a gap that was sucking in unmetred air. This got sorted yet he was still unable to get a proper run on the rollers, seem it was pinking quiet bad, that bad it could of knackerd the engine!! Iain there defienatly knows his stuff, went straight to the ECU and before even opening it said there is probably a dodgy Jap chip in it, and he was right, they had bypassed the main chip and this was what was causing the pinking, luckly enough no damage had been done. Finally got a sucessful run and she is now putting out 304bhp and 271 lbs/ft torque and no pinking!! :P So a big thanks to iain for sorting it all out :( and would recommend them to anyone! :P
