teocalli Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 (edited) Just had a new radiator fitted a week ago (£275 supplied and fitted) after a hairline crack developed in the old one. Parked outside the house tonight only to find water pissing out the bottom end coupled with a loud hissing noise. Can't reall see exactly where it's coming from as it is too dark. Well and truly gutted. Edited August 24, 2007 by teocalli
RA Dunk Posted August 24, 2007 Posted August 24, 2007 did you do the work yerself or was it a garage?
teocalli Posted August 24, 2007 Author Posted August 24, 2007 T'was garage workmanship. If it's the radiator again, I'm good as I'll be covered via guarantee/waranty. Fingers crossed.
johnnyr6 Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Might just be a slightly loose jubilee clip. Johnny. T'was garage workmanship. If it's the radiator again, I'm good as I'll be covered via guarantee/waranty. Fingers crossed.
B14RY W Posted August 25, 2007 Posted August 25, 2007 Sounds like a loose jubilee clip/hose clamp on your bottom radiator hose. Or the hose is burst.
