it is gettin bad my mate was threatened with a gun in sheerness high street the other day to give them his scooby but he see it was a toy so they did not get the car but got to be so careful when out an about cos they will do anythin to get the car from you!!

a few weeks ago a couple of little spuds tried to take me old chaps scoob from outside his house, lucky the neighbours see what was happening and police and the family turned up causing them to flee, they wrecked the door trying to get in.

you gotta keep things tight nowdays.

It amazes me that people still leave their keys by the front door. Surely it's common knowledge that thieving scum use this method a lot. As for leaving your front door open!! :occasion14:

hopefully I will be ok...My car is parked on a mates drive in a nice part of Maidstone...I keep the keys with me..in a not so nice part of maidstone!!!

Guess it doesn't help the matter when out driving though!! :P

I think i've seen your car parked up on a drive in the 'nice' part of Maidstone! One of Suzanne's friends lives around the corner from there

If you can get a complete steering lock- the big metal round one- on that's a good start to stopping the would be thief as they are a ###### to get off quickly so they dont bother...

Totally agree, get one of these as everything helps

I have a Stoplok XL, its much the same as the disklok but folds away differently for easy storage. And at nights it has a wheel clamp on it as well.

If a thief is seriously determined to get your car then they will get it. But the more deterrents you have the more likely that they'll choose a softer target.
