Dalthegooner Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 This is unbelievable. It sounds to me like all of the companies you've spoken to aren't interested. Its a f***ing joke the length of time we've been waiting. Does anyone know/know of a t-shirt company that can make us some t-shirts???????????? Surely there must be one t-shirt manufacturer that wants to make some money?????????????????????????????

yogi- Posted September 22, 2007 Posted September 22, 2007 I know a little firm in Crayford i use to print up all my work gear, they are reliable PM me for details if you like
big jay Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 (edited) Went to a local t shirty place and they have said it will be a £30 set up fee. If we have our names embroidered on the front and the logo on the back(embroidered) it will cost £20 - 22 + vat per shirt no matter what size or how many. If you just want the logo in print and the names embroidered on the front, the shirts will be £ 15 - 18 +vat. 2 - 3 week turn a round for the shirts. If we do the colour will be orange polo shirts black writing. What do you all think? Okay it must be the lack of sleep i've already told you all this - -_- Still would like to know what you think. Dalthegooner Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 (edited) The prices sound fine to me. Got a few questions for you to ask the bloke if you don't mind. 1. Once he's done the artwork set up does he keep it on file so that whenever we go back in the future there are no further setup costs, so that people can get t-shirts as and when they want and so that we can change colours every year? 2. Can we have both types of t-shirt (The fully embroidered or the embroidered/printed) Its only a few quid between the two but for some people that few quid could be the difference between getting a t-shirt or not? 3. Do they only do polo shirts? Some people don't like and won't wear polo shirts and would prefer round necks. 4. If they don't do round neck can we supply orange round neck t-shirts and have them do the work? 5. If the answer to number 4 is yes, how much? 6. Do they do other things as well as t-shirts (i.e. Caps, jumpers, jackets)? Thanks Edited September 23, 2007 by Dalthegooner
dazzlers82 Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 good idea fleeces an waterproof jackets would be a good thing as well
spikey Posted September 23, 2007 Posted September 23, 2007 count me in for the t-shirts, as daz said, the fleeces etc would deffinately come in useful in winter.

I have a question too.......Why do we have to change the colour every year? Wouldn't it be nice to have a club colour like the Essex scoobies have pink that way when we are at meets/events people will recognise us by that colour. As you have said a few quids difference can make the decision as to wether they have a shirt or not maybe not every one can afford to buy a new shirt every year.
