Turbo Timer Help!!!!!

Hi people,

As above.  My turbo timer all of a sudden stopped working!  [:@]  Weird thing is, the stereo will stay on while the engine cuts when I turn the key off at ignition?!?!?!?!

I would imagine a loose wire somewhere, but I've had the underside steering wheel covers off and it all looks and feels good.  Anyone know much about car electrics who is willing to take a look?  Or even point me in the direction of someone who can?

Would be v. much appreciated.

mine has an earth wire to handbrake in case someone tries to drive off while counting down not sure if yours has but may be worth checkin incase it may have fallen off (if got that is)[Y]

Just had a wee look.  There doesn't appear to be any wire around the hand-brake?  Any other ideas?
