Braided brake hoses

Theres a group buy running for braided brake hoses - what difference do these make over the standard hoses that I've presumeably got fitted to mine? Is it worth me considering a set?

anyone ?
I fitted them on the kit car when I was building it . The theory, I think, is that the braiding helps to stop the hoses expanding under presser allowing great presser at the caliper.Think thats right .

That about sums it up, i noticed it when i used my brakes hard for the first time after having them fitted, the brake pedal was much firmer [H]

I fitted them to mine Barry. They made the pedal feel better and the brakes have a little better bite. Its definitely a mod worth doing IMHO.

Coupled with the change to 5.1 fluid and I fitted green stuff pads the brake fade after a spirited run is much less.
