Spluttering

Hey guys

Just got a quick question. Whenever I'm starting my 96 WRX up from cold and on the first mile or so driving it seems to splutter a lot as the revs drop right down to virtually stalling point. Any ideas???

I'd check the obvious stuff like Coil Packs for cracks, sensors etc.

Getting the car to somewhere like AWD with a Subaru Select monitor can check it for faults.

mine was doing this for a while,do you use ur impreza alot? mine is out every couple of weeks every time it would splutter,then go away after the engine lightly warmed up. i thought it was down to hardly using it, when i used it a couple of days in a row it stopped doing it.hasnt done it since then,when it did it with me it felt like a fueling problem rather than electrical.
