z1000 Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 Spent a very reasonable 3.5 hours in the garage today fitting this lot What an improvement, back end now stays on the road when you hit a bump. Still pretty hard as they're KYB's with lowering springs but looking forward to a run up north now without the fear of bouncing off the road.
frank c Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 Looks like you've been a wee bit busy What kind of damper and springs did you eventually go for ?
Double Zero Posted July 22, 2007 Posted July 22, 2007 Should feel a lot better m8 KYB's are what i have & i'm getting Whiteline drop link's from Geo nextweek so should feel a lot better,What price did you pay for the antiroll bar? Stevie
z1000 Posted July 23, 2007 Author Posted July 23, 2007 Struts are kyb with jrj springs, bought em off a guy on snet and they're only a couple o months old. ARB's are eibach and from the snet group buy, half price at £150 just got the whiteline stuff from revolution at the same time.
frank c Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 Are the KYB's adjustable ? Can't say I've heard of the Springs though.
z1000 Posted July 23, 2007 Author Posted July 23, 2007 Non adjustable but at the price i got them for can't complain [] Most breakers were asking silly money for high mileage stuff. Had a search but can't find the springs either. Car handles big bumps much better now but is still pretty hard and jittery and needs set up 2 be perfect but i'm surprised how little body role there is and i think it'll handle knockhill no probs.
