Burning Clutch

had a bit of an incident the other day where I had used far too much gas and too little clutch with a resultant cloud of smoke and ikky burning clutch smell.

 

Problem is since then although the car feels fine I can catch a whiff of it after any heavy driving - anyway to properly test if its feked and how much is a new clutch?

Also any advice on new discs&pads as these too are also knackerd.  (MY99)  Heard standard discs and mintex pads were a good combo but think my braking may be a bit heavy fot that - however skint so Brembos are out the question (
