Spaceman Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Hi guys lookin for some advice for fitting harness bolts and which ones to buy. Its for my 205 Track Hillclimb/Sprint prepared car. 4 Point harness fitted. Is it best to drill a hole thro the floor plan just big enough to fit the harness eye bolt thro, then on the underside of the car lock the eye bolt in place using a locking nyloc nut with a stainless stell plate for the anchor? or should it be a plate on top and bottom? Anyone got anyexperience that could come help me? Willing to pay like. Thanks Thanks for any help Greig
scoob fae ork Posted July 18, 2007 Posted July 18, 2007 Hi there your harness bolts should fit into the bolt holes where the original seat belts come from but if they dont you will be best to drill your holes on the same line as the rear seat belt holes to help prevent stress on the seat. Its prob best to beef up your holes a bit too with steel plate and then bolt them with a nyloc nut. Thats what i would do but it dont mean its right Hope this helps.
