I've cleaned my car and it hasn't rained!

Finally went to Halfords today to buy some car cleaning products only to discover that the 3 for 2 offer had finished. [:'(]. Anyhow, I took the advice from Granby and Leebo and bought a lambswool mit and I also bought a Meguaires drying cloth.

So, for the first time this year [:$] I decided to clean my car and I have to say that I AM LOVING THE LAMBSWOOL!!!. It's amazing and fun. The drying cloth was £12 but well worth it as the car has come up pretty well but the downside is that I can now see all the carpark dents and scratches. [:(].

I've taken some before and after shots and I'm quite pleased with the results. HOWEVER, I do need some advice on getting my wheels nice and clean (try and ignore the massive scuffs) as, whilst they are now cleaner, they aren't perfect.

Your comments and suggestions please...............

I agree, them mats were a disgrace [N]

I agree too!! Everytime I got in the car I kept thinking "I really should hoover those mats" and then it would rain and I wouldn't get around to it.

I wasn't too sure what the two bucket method was!

You have 2 buckets, one with soapy water and another with fresh water.  The idea is you use the fresh water bucket to rinse your mitt before you soap the car, and after every pass of the car so you keep the soapy water grit free, even better use grit guards in the buckets too....
