Cleaned my engine bay!

Some of you might already know that i was speaking to Dean about getting my engine and car detailed but to cut a long story short, something always came up which meant i never got it done. So, i did some research and had a go at it tonight.

Here are the pictures from my first attempt at cleaning my engine bay.

I did not get to finish the job as i was intending to go over the whole thing again but rain stopped play.  A little frustrating but i managed to get alot of the work done.

Before picture - a little bright as the sun was out.

A little reading i did suggested covering up various bits of the engine with either cling film or tin foil.  I tried tin foil but it kept ripping so i went with cling film.

Now some after shots.

Did not get to do much of the bare metal so intercooler etc still needs to be done.

I was reading an article that suggested doing it but in the end i did not need to cover much up as i bottled it and went easy on the spray and did not use water.

One thing i did discover, if you are 6.4" cleaning engine bays is not for you
