Hope your trainers are well broken in then made the mistake of taking some new trail shoes onto the hills @ the weekend and had blisters the size of golf balls on my heels :eek: I swear by 1000-mile socks, but only with good fitting shoes. You know yourself that some trainers are far worse than others for rubbing. Used to tape my feet in the Marines, but the socks just stick to the tape and then start rubbing so you end up with even more severe blisters. They told us tape was the cure, but I think the sick buggers did it for a p!ss take Stefan
