Sun Inn Marlborough Road Swindon SN3 6AA Friday 3rd April - due to Pub having a party on 7.30pm start The monthly meet is held in a lovely family friendly pub which has a large car park and a secure play area outside for the children to play in. Bar food is served until 9pm and there is a good choice. Meet is full of car banter and just general laughs and all subaru owners are more then welcome to attend. If you are a new member please make yourself known to either Scooby Princess or Edmondo (anyone will be able to point them out to you) who will welcome you and introduce you to other members. Swindon Monthly Local Meet The Sun Inn Marlborough Road Just by Coate Water Roundabout Swindon Starts at 7.30pm and finishes when the last person leaves! Every last friday of the month Excellent Local meet for ALL the family and even the pet dogs! Good food selection as well as nibbles and drinks. Lovely outdoor seating area with play area for children and plenty of seating. Fully enclosed so very safe and with gate to car park should any alarms suddenly go off! Coate water park is next to pub for a lovely walk with the dog or feeding the ducks. Recent meets have recently included a rally car with its driver as well as a Local dealership bringing along a stunning GB 270

We are now into our final 2 week for accepting S.I.D.C members payment's for stand passes only enabling them to be on the stand at this years Performance Car Action Day @ Castle Combe race circuit on 19th April 2008. Last year was our largest turn out and we were both surprised but honoured to have The Best Club Stand Award presented to us towards the end of the day. This Year we are working closely with Castle Combe who have agreed to allow our stand raise much needed funds for the Mc Millan Cancer Support Charity and they will also be recognising this as the Charity of the Day. Overall this is not a day to be missed and a wonderful way to start the show season, so get your names down now...

For the next meet we will be having a joint event with as many Regions that wish to join us as we will be celebrating our 3rd birthday as an S.I.D.C South West Regional Group. It will be held towards Bristol to allow the Welsh /Devon / Dorset members and anyone else from other regions to join us. We will be holding the sunday lunch meet at:- The Griffin, Bridgeyate, Bristol http://www.pub-explorer.com/gloucs/pub/griffinbridgeyate.htm and then moving on for a photo shoot as well as a presention and an exciting announcement. Convoy meeting points for the Swindon, Welsh, Wiltshire, Devon and Bristol Scoobies are in the South West Region Area of this forum I will be taking payments for Performance Car Action Day, South West Motor Show and Wroughton Classic at this event.

Even though we will be holding a sunday lunch meet to celebrate the South West Regions 3rd birthday, i am also holding our usual monthly meet as well as we have many members who work weekend or cant make the other meet due to other commitments. This will be held:- Date:- Friday 29th February Place:- Sun Inn, Marlborough Road, Nr Coate Water Roundabout, Swindon Time:- 7.30pm onwards I will be taking payments for the forth coming shows and events, and this is the LAST OPPORTUNITY to pay for your space at Performance Car Action Day, @ Castle Combe, so don't forget those cheque books and pennies. We will also be having a small fundraiser at this event to raise money for club funds as we require some items ready for show season including a new flag as our last one was damaged during the winter months when my garage was flooded and the flag was beyond repair.
