About Beds-WRW

  1. Not had a good Scooby day. I have got a knocking rear shock absorber which is going to cost £314 before fitting to replace. The car is only 6 months out of the factory warrenty so i have to pay the bill. Really annoyed as its a 56 plate and i have really looked after her :-( I was thinking of selling the car after paying the last £440 road tax bill, i think this may have made my mind up.
  2. Hoping someone can help! On my 2006 wrx the ash tray will not stay shut. I have had a good look and cannot see anything that is broken or maybe a spring missing. Any advice appreciated.
  3. I have got a problem on my 2006 Hawkeye WRX. Basically the boot catch next to the fuel cap release has stopped working. Had a quick look already but no success. Any ideas as to what it may be? I can still open the boot with the key so just wondering if the cable has come off.
  4. Thanks for the advice i will give the insurance company a ring. I have found A Plan the best so far for price and the customer service was 1st class. I will try to post a couple of pictures when i get a chance of the scob. Just a little back ground, had a 04 Subaru GX sport for 3 years but always wanted a turbo after riding in a friends. Then went through the do i don't i bit with r tax & insurance but in the end so so glad i did.
  5. Bit of advice needed. I bought a 2006 WRX 2.5ltr Impreza recently, the owners manual confirms it came from Subaru Malta. It seems to have been first registered in the Uk, but as it came from Malta does this make it an import in terms of insuring it. This may be a stupid question but just want to make sure as it changes insurance costs quite a bit Cheers in advance.
