problem subaru dealer

well had our fair share today or should i say julie did. not naming names but a few folk on here will know who it is. they were just not wanting to do anything, were totally unhelpful, patronising, shouting down the phone, pushing blame elsewhere ... wtf .... its the dealer that holds the paperwork not the sales staff!.

quick sinopsus bought car last year from said dealer, with proven warranty, last week a problem on the car reared its head, went to one dealer to get it checked, found out said problem would be covered but then found out it hadnt been registered with subaru proven. at this point numerous calls happened, folk getting blamed, etc. julie eventually had to speak with subaru head office to sort it all out. they said that it would have the proven warranty. the work is now going to get repaired at the dealer who checked it out.

no word of an apology from the origional dealer for all the agrivation and hastle.

if you are buying a second hand subaru from a dealer make sure you get all the warranty paperwork. luckily we had it on our sales invoice, to which the dealer said we were still not covered.

To be honest I say name and shame!! Fellow subaru users need to know about bad dealerships to same them money in long run!

Heard all about this today m8,cant believe it,i agree name and shame,so this doesnt happen again,all dealers aren't the same,but we all get tar'd with the same stick

If you have a legitamate problem with a dealer then just name them. Gav agrees and he works for one!

It either allows them to be publically named or the complaint isn't valid and shouldn't be posted at all.

okay folks, this is an out and out ligitimate name and shame ........... EDEN subaru. disgraceful service, attitude, etc ... will never use them again. infact be warned if you have used them, check your warranty, and dont be put off with what they say by blaming folk not there.

i agree with you TERRIBLE DEALER, only good thing to come out of EDEN is MAKO. my wrx 300 was out of eden and 4 times they damaged my car dents scratches ,they fitted ppp pack rear sti spoiler and a new damaged sti scoop that my wife and kids payed £250 for .the bill was for an unpainted scoop to be painted in wr blue and fitted ,in fact they fitted one from an other sti that had damage /scratches.it was like hitting your head off a brick wall trying to get the truth. they scratched my front bumper and blamed it on my wife (BIG MISTAKE) but wanted to fit my sti side cappings so i would not notice(EVEN BIGGER MISTAKE) dented my both rear doors ,after nearly hitting  the roof they admitted it was them /repaired dents ,but the TWAT that repaired the dents scratched both windows ,he did not have a protector between window and door panel THIS DEALER IS A DISASTER WE SHOULD HAVE A RATE /SLATE SECTION ON THIS FORUM so that members can see what type of dealers we are dealing with [:@] geo

[:@]Hi Mrs.JC Scoob here,funny enough I had almost exactly the same problem with said dealership,my car was back in more times than ive had hot dinners total idiots,everytime there was a problem they would blame Mako,even though he only sold me the car,in the end I also phoned Subaru it is very annoying when you pay over the odds from a main dealer expecting to get decent aftersales,then you are treated like an idiot.

I would not let them take my dog for a walk now,to be fair the new srevice manager was O.K the last time,once I had threatened to go to the trading standards about their misleading "warranties",anyway car is going to see Mr.F on Fri so fingers crossed they have fixed it properly so he can work his magic,I for one would not recomend anybody to go there for sales or servicing from now on hope your car is going good now[]

bought my car from them and after the fiasco that was the first service and fitting of prodrive spring kit i wont be returning. not to mention the fact that none of the original parts from the fitting of the prodrive pack,springs and driving lights were returned to me. no doubt sold on to some one else at my expense!

it wasnt the first time subaru head office has had a complaint about eden. as when julie spoke to the guy there he said ...... oh them .......... mud sticks.

they tried to fob julie of by saying we are not a scooby dealer etc ... if that were the case why sell the cars, be on the subaru dealer list .... a total bunch of balloons!.

if you are going for a new scoob head to falkirk or perth, stay well clear of cupar.

[y] A big thank you to russ (the best thing out of eden) not only can he sell cars, he is all so a lot better with a spaner than them turkeys that are workin in that muppet show for a "subaru dealer" !!
