As some of you will know by now, Edmondo (my husband) has been recently diognosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphroma - Cancer of the Lymph glands and we have tried to maintain daily contact with this and other sites but i am now having to make the decision to take a break for a week as ed has become worse and i wish to make sure that he is comfortable.

If anyone wishes to get hold of me for any reason then you can contact me on either my email address ( swscoobies@fsmail.net or jacquibunnett@fsmail.net ) as will be checking these daily but if there is nothing major i would request that i not be contacted so that i can concentrate on the family and especially Ed.

Thank you for respecting these wishes and i should be back online by saturday 10th March 07

The "boss" has been informed of this decision

So sorry too hear the sad news, you are both in our thoughts-and we wish you a Scooby speedy recovery.

We know it's easy to say but "think positive" and be determined to beat this evil illness. It worked for Ann she is heading for her 10th Anniversary since it happened with her third year of the all clear every day now is a special day for us..

For some inspirational reading you might want to get a copy of Lance Armstrong " It's not about the bike my journey back to life".

ed had a consulants appointment, chest x ray and full blood works (12  in total ) on tuesday 6th march, he then had a sample of bone and bone marrow taken on thursday 8th March and then he had his 1st chemio on friday 9th march.

the sat and sunday were a bit low but he has gradually got his strenghth back as well as a massive appettite (thanks to steriods) he goes to work but in swindon not bristol and only for about 5 hours a day - if he feels tired he comes straight home.

We have seen a massive reduction in the size of the lump in his neck and the swelling and bright redness has gone down and infection in the wound (op wound) has reduced as well
